كلية إدارة الأعمال في جامعة البلمند تنال اعتماد AACSB International العالمي
حصدت كلية إدارة الأعمال في جامعة البلمند اعتماد AACSB International (جمعية تطوير كليات إدارة الأعمال الجامعية)، وهو اعتراف عالمي يجسّد التميّز في التعليم والبحث والتأثير المجتمعي في مجال إدارة الأعمال.
تُعدّ AACSB International الجهة الرائدة عالميًا في اعتماد كليات إدارة الأعمال. ومع انتشار أعضائها في أكثر من 100 دولة، تكرّس الجمعية جهودها لتعزيز جودة التعليم الإداري من خلال عمليات مراجعة دقيقة تعتمد على الرسالة المؤسّسية، وتركّز على الإدارة الإستراتيجية، والابتكار، وتميّز الهيئة التعليمية، والبحوث المتميّزة، والمشاركة المجتمعية.
ومن بين نحو 18,000 كلية إدارة أعمال حول العالم، تنال فقط حوالي 1,000 منها اعتماد AACSB، أي أقل من 6% من المؤسّسات عالميًا. وبذلك، تنضمّ كلية إدارة الأعمال في جامعة البلمند إلى النخبة العالمية من كليات إدارة الأعمال، حيث يُعدّ اعتماد AACSB المعيار العالمي الأعلى في جودة تعليم إدارة الأعمال.
وفي تعليق له على هذا الإنجاز، أفاد البروفيسور كريم ربيز، عميد الكلية: “مع انضمامي إلى الكلية عام 2021، بدت الآفاق غير واضحة. لكن من خلال جهد جماعي استثنائي، تمكّنا من تحويل التحدّيات إلى فرص، وحقّقنا اعتماد AACSB في عام 2025. هذا الإنجاز، الذي تحقّق في أصعب السنوات التي مرّت على لبنان، يُثبت أن الإصرار والعمل الجماعي قادران على تجاوز أي عقبة.”
كما هنّأ رئيس جامعة البلمند، الدكتور الياس وراق، الكلية على هذا الإنجاز، قائلاً: “يعكس هذا الإنجاز التزام جامعة البلمند الثابت بتعزيز الجودة والتعليم والتأثير المجتمعي. وهو دليل على إصرارنا على الحفاظ على المعايير العالمية وإعداد قادة يسهمون بفعالية في مجتمعاتهم وخارجها.”
وبهذا الإنجاز، تنضمّ كلية إدارة الأعمال في جامعة البلمند إلى صفوف كبرى كليات إدارة الأعمال والمؤسّسات العالمية الملتزمة بتطوير تعليم إداري يُحدث فرقًا ملموسًا في الأفراد والمنظمات والمجتمعات.
Faculty of Business and Management at the University of Balamand Earns AACSB International Accreditation
The Faculty of Business and Management (FOBM) at the University of Balamand has achieved the AACSB International Accreditation (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), a globally recognized hallmark of excellence in business education, research, and societal impact.
AACSB International is the world’s leading accrediting body for business schools. With members in over 100 countries, AACSB promotes quality management education through a mission-driven and peer-reviewed process that emphasizes strategic management, innovation, faculty excellence, impactful research, and societal engagement.
Out of approximately 18,000 business schools worldwide, only about 1,000 have achieved AACSB accreditation, representing less than 6% of institutions globally. This distinction firmly positions FOBM among the top tier of business schools worldwide, making AACSB accreditation the definitive gold standard of business education.
Reflecting on this achievement, Professor Karim Rebeiz, Dean of FOBM, stated: “When I joined the Faculty in 2021, the prospects appeared uncertain. Yet through a remarkable collective effort, we turned things around and achieved AACSB accreditation in 2025. This milestone, earned amid Lebanon’s most difficult years, is a proof that dedication and collaboration can overcome any challenge.”
UOB President Dr. Elias Warrak congratulated the Faculty on this exceptional achievement, saying: “This accomplishment reflects UOB’s unwavering commitment to quality, education, and societal impact. It demonstrates our determination to uphold global standards and to prepare leaders who will contribute positively to their communities and beyond.”
Through this accomplishment, FOBM joins the ranks of the world’s elite business schools and institutions dedicated to advancing business education that transforms individuals, organizations, and societies.
