المؤتمر الطبّي الشامل من تنظيم كلية الطب في جامعة البلمند للعام الثالث على التوالي
نظّمت جامعة البلمند المؤتمر الطبّي الشامل للعام الثالث على التوالي في حرمها الرئيسي في الكورة، وذلك في 30 و31 أيار 2025، بالتعاون معInfoMed . وقد تناول المؤتمر مجموعة واسعة من المواضيع الصحية والطبّية، بمشاركة فاعلة من شخصيات بارزة في القطاع الطبّي والجامعي، إلى جانب ممثّلين عن الهيئات الصحية والنقابية والأكاديمية من مختلف التخصّصات.
يهدف المؤتمر إلى تعزيز تبادل المعرفة الطبّية ومتابعة أحدث التطورات في مختلف المجالات الصحية، ما يساهم في فتح فرص للحوار بين العاملين في القطاع الطبّي. كما ويعكس رؤية جامعة البلمند وكلية الطبّ في السعي الدائم إلى تحسين مستوى الخدمات الصحية، والارتقاء بجودة الرعاية الطبّية ويؤكّد التزام الكلية بدعم الكفاءات الطبّية وتطويرها، انطلاقاً من دورها المحوري في الحفاظ على القطاع الطبي، خصوصاً في ظلّ التحديات التي يواجهها.
اختُتم المؤتمر بحفل رسمي حضره عميد كلية الطبّ الدكتور سامي عازار ممثّلاً رئيس جامعة البلمند الدكتور الياس وراق، رئيس نقابة الأطباء في طرابلس الدكتور ابراهيم مقدسي، ونخبة من الأطباء والأساتذة والطلاب من مختلف الاختصاصات.
وقد أشار الدكتور غسان النبوت، مساعد العميد للتثقيف الطبّي المستمرّ ورئيس اللجنة التنظيمية في كلية الطب، إلى الطابع المميّز لمؤتمر هذا العام، مؤكّدًا: “يُعدّ مؤتمر هذا العام نقطة تحوّل من حيث النطاق والمضمون على حدّ سواء. فللمرة الأولى، نستضيف أربع جلسات علمية متزامنة تُعقد في آنٍ واحد لتخصّصات مختلفة.” وأضاف: “نفتخر بانضمام زملائنا في مجال التمريض كمشاركين فاعلين في المؤتمر. فمساهماتهم تغني كل نقاش، ودورهم في رعاية المرضى لا غنى عنه.”
أمّا الدكتورة أدليت عيناتي، رئيسة قسم طبّ الأطفال في جامعة البلمند ورئيسة اللجنة العلمية، فقد شكرت الحضور وأعلنت أهداف المؤتمر بقولها: “إنّ مشاركتكم وتفاعلكم اليوم يُثريان معرفتنا ويُلهماننا للسعي نحو تحقيق أهدافنا، وفي طليعتها تقديم رعاية طبّية عالية الجودة، وتكوين جيل من الأطباء العلماء والإنسانيين في ممارستهم الطبّية.”
في مداخلته، سلّط الدكتور سامي عازار الضوء على أهمّية انعقاد المؤتمر في هذه الظروف الدقيقة، قائلاً: “يأتي هذا المؤتمر في وقت بالغ الحساسية. فقد مرّ لبنان بعام آخر حافل بالاضطرابات، من حرب وتحديات اقتصادية، إلى عدم استقرار سياسي وضغوط هائلة على النظام الصحي. ومع ذلك، ها نحن اليوم، واقفون بثبات، موحّدون بشجاعة، نختار التعاون على الاستسلام، والأمل على اليأس.”
يشكّل هذا المؤتمر محطّة مهمّة تؤكّد حرص جامعة البلمند والتزامها المستمر في دعم القطاع الطبّي في لبنان لمواجهة التحديات الراهنة، والسعي الدؤوب نحو تطوير النظام الصحي وتحقيق التميز الطبّي.
Medical Congress Organized by the Faculty of Medicine and Medical Sciences at the University of Balamand for the Third Consecutive Year
The Faculty of Medicine and Medical Sciences (FOM) at the University of Balamand (UOB) organized the Medical Congress for the third consecutive year at its main campus in Koura on May 30 and 31, 2025 in collaboration with InfoMed. The congress addressed a wide range of health and medical topics and featured active participation from prominent figures in the medical and academic sectors, as well as representatives from various health, professional, and academic institutions across multiple disciplines.
The conference aims to promote the exchange of medical knowledge and keep up with the latest developments in various health fields, contributing to greater dialogue among professionals in the medical sector. It also reflects the vision of the UOB and FOM in their ongoing efforts to improve healthcare services and enhance the quality of medical care. Furthermore, it affirms the faculty’s commitment to supporting and developing medical talent, in line with its pivotal role in safeguarding the medical sector, especially amid the current challenges.
The conference concluded with an official ceremony attended by Dean of FOM Dr. Sami Azar representing UOB President Dr. Elias Warrak, President of the Order of Physicians of Tripoli Dr. Ibrahim Makdissi, along with a distinguished group of doctors, professors, and students from various specialties.
Dr. Ghassan Nabout, Assistant Dean for Continuing Medical Education and Chair of the Organizing Committee at FOM, highlighted the distinctive nature of this year’s conference, emphasizing: “This year’s congress marks a turning point in both scale and spirit. For the first time, we are hosting four parallel scientific sessions, running simultaneously across specialties. This structure reflects the complexity of modern medicine.” He added: “In that same spirit, we are especially proud to welcome our nursing colleagues as active participants in the program. Their voices enriches every discussion and their role in patient care is indispensable.”
Dr. Adlette Inati, Chair of Pediatrics at UOB and Chair of the Scientific Committee, thanked the attendees and outlined the conference’s objectives, saying: ” Thank you all for being here today; your presence and interaction will undoubtedly enrich our understanding and inspire us to achieve our goals: provision of excellent patient care and creating a generation of physician scientists and compassionate healers. Thanks to our sponsors for their continued support. A warm welcome to young physicians, nurses and med students.”
In his speech, Dr. Sami Azar highlighted the importance of holding the conference during these critical circumstances, saying: “This congress arrives at a time of exceptional significance. Lebanon has endured yet another year marked by turbulence, war, economic challenges, political uncertainty, and a strained healthcare system. And yet, here we are. Standing strong.
Boldly united. Choosing collaboration over isolation, hope over despair, and excellence over compromise.”
This conference represents an important milestone that underscores the UOB’s dedication and ongoing commitment to supporting the medical sector in Lebanon in facing current challenges, and its continuous pursuit of advancing the healthcare system and achieving medical excellence.
